Jun 11th, 2013 | By | Category: General Interest

Vetstock, a two day long Fourth of July weekend celebration and fundraiser to be held at the Malibu Dude Ranch on Friday, July 5 and Saturday, July 6, is in need of vendors to help support the ‘round the clock patriotic party.

All of the net proceeds raised at Vetstock will be donated to Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) to provide an accessible home for Marine Corporal David Noblit Jr., a local wounded Afghanistan war veteran, his wife, and their young son.

Proceeds will be generated from ticket sales, sponsorships, media sponsorships, as well as vendor tent sponsorships. For $125, vendors will receive a 10’x10’ space for a tent for the entire two days.

The Vetstock organizers are currently looking for food vendors, particularly sausage and peppers and meatballs, jewelry vendors, motorcycle vendors, leather vendors, military memorabilia vendors, country western style vendors, etc. to add into the Vetstock mix.

Veterans, residents, and visitors are all invited to Vetstock to take in live concerts and DJs, military exhibitions, a sanctioned Malibu rodeo, food, and much more.

HFOT is a national non-profit, non-partisan 501 (c)(3) organization founded in 2004 that assists severely injured veterans and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials, and professional labor and to coordinate the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently.

Vetstock would like to extend a huge thank-you to our sponsors: The Pike County Bar Association, the Joe Bayer Band, Chant Realty, Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Resort and Restaurant, Pike County Commissioners Rich Caridi and Matt Osterberg, Wayne Bank, American Legion Post 311, Kelly Gaughan Esq., the Milford Diner, the Law Offices of Galasso, Kimleer & Muir, P.C., Charles Kannebecker, Esq., VFW Mountain Laurel Post #8612, Delaware Tire & Auto Center, The Niki Jones Agency, David Madeira of “The Talker” on 94.3, Bold Gold Media Group, and Pocono 96.7.
