On July 15, 2013 at approximately 4:36 p.m., State Police from the Livingston barracks responded a report of an assault that occurred at the Columbia County Group Home located on State Route 203 in Kinderhook.
Police investigation revealed that two subjects at the facility attacked another resident. One of the suspects reportedly punched the victim in the face causing his tooth to break.
A 15 year old resident was arrested for Assault 3rd Degree, a misdemeanor. He was issued a Family Court Appearance Ticket returnable on July 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Additionally, a 16 year old resident was arrested for Harassment 2nd Degree, a violation, and ordered to appear before the Town of Kinderhook Justice Court on July 23, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.
