Two Arrested in Middletown for Graffiti SPree

The Middletown Police Department arrested two city residents during the early morning hours of May 20, 2012 following numerous graffiti incidents.

Juan Carlos Carpio, 21 of North Beacon St. and Emmanuel Pineiro, 19 of Watkins Ave. were arrested shortly after midnight and charged with numerous counts of Criminal Mischief 4th degree(A Misdemeanor) and Criminal Mischief 3rd degree(E Felony) along with Making Graffiti (A Misdemeanor) after having spray painted mailboxes, a stop sign, construction equipment and a building in the Cantrell Ave. area.

Carpio and Pineiro were held in city lock up pending arraignment.
