On October 5, 2012, the New York State Police at Catskill and the Greene County DA’s office report the arrest of Joseph Cole, age 48 and Zoe Sena age 39, of Athens, NY.
Cole was charged with Burglary in the third degree, (class D Felony), 2 counts of Grand Larceny in the fourth degree (class E Felony), Criminal Trespass in the third degree (class B Misdemeanor) and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana (Violation).
Sena was charged with Grand Larceny in the fourth degree (class E Felony), Criminal Trespass in the third degree (class B Misdemeanor), 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree (class A Misdemeanor), Unlawful Possession of Marijuana (Violation) and Public Health Law violation of Possessing a Controlled Substance outside of its Original Container.
Cole and Sena were arrested after an investigation of several copper larcenies and burglaries in the Greene County area. At the time of arrest, Sena was found to be in the possession of Crack Cocaine and a prescription medication not prescribed to her.
Cole and Sena were arraigned before Town of Catskill Justice Wooten. Cole was remanded to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 secured bond. Sena was remanded to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond.
The State police were assisted by the Coxsackie Police Department and the Greene County District Attorney’s Office.
