Two Arrested Following Robbery of Hess station in the Town of Lloyd

On March 3, 2013 at 3:22 pm, the State Police at Highland responded to the Hess Gas Station on St-299 in the Town of Lloyd for the report of a Robbery at that location.

Witnesses at the scene reported a male in his late 20’s had entered the store and demanded cash from the cashier.  After stealing approximately $590.00 in cash, the man fled from the scene in a black vehicle.

The investigation led to the arrest of two men for Robbery in the third degree.  Arrested were Carlos J. Rondon, age 22 of  Modena and Kyle F. Jesse, age 21 of Clintondale. Both men were arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of  $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000.00 secured bond.

The New York State Police were assisted by the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department and the Town of Lloyd Police Department.
