The Orange County Department of health has contracted with Alleymor Inc. dba Pestmaster to provide larvicide application to
municipality owned catch basins. The larvicide to be used will be Altosid briquettes. This will prevent mosquito breeding in the catch basin.
Pestmaster Service expects to start larviciding in the Town of Newburgh the 1st through 3rd week of June.
Mosquito experts from Orange county Community college will continue to trap throughout Orange County until October 2012. OCCC employees carry identification.
