Town of Newburgh Man Charged With Attempted Murder
Jan 4th, 2012 | By HV Insider | Category: Lead ArticleOn January 4, 2012 City of Newburgh Detectives and Town of Newburgh Police arrested a Town of Newburgh resident in connection with a November 21, 2011 shooting outside of a local bar.
City of Newburgh Detective Thomas Nafey has charged Robert McKenzie, age 22, with Attempted Murder in the Second Degree.
McKenzie is accused of firing several shots from a handgun at Donovan “Snoop” James who was struck in the chest and back while standing outside of the Terrace Lounge in the City of Newburgh.
James survived his injuries.
McKenzie is currently being held in City of Newburgh Lockup pending arraignment.
