Upon the officers arrival, they saw a group leaving the area. About a minute after the initial call, Police received notification from the staff of Vassar Brother Medical Center, reporting a person had just arrived at the Emergency Department suffering from slash wounds to the back of their leg, requiring 119 sutures to close the wounds.

As the result of the investigation, 19 year old Alisea Q. Mallory, of the City of Poughkeepsie was taken into custody on Monday May 7, 2012 at 11:31a.m. and transported to Police Headquarters.

Mallory was arrested and charged with Assault in the second degree, a felony. She was booked, processed, and brought to the City of Poughkeepsie Court where she was arraigned before Judge Katherine Moloney. Mallory was released on her own recognizance, and a full stay away order was issued and is due back in court on May 17th 2012.
