Wurtsboro Man Arrested For Felony Burglary

The New York State Police at Wurtsboro, N. Y. announce the arrest of Samuel Palmer III, age 32, from Wurtsboro for the felony charges of Burglary in the second degree, Grand Larceny in the third degree and Grand larceny in the fourth degree.

Palmer is accused of burglarizing a Wurtsboro residence, stealing firearms and other property with a value in excess of $3000.00.

Palmer was arraigned in the Town of Mamakating Town Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of No Bail pending a future court appearance.

Felony Burglary Charges Stem From Highland Break-In

State Police at Highland announce the arrest of Roshan Pittman, age 22, from Highland, NY for the felony charge of burglary in the second degree.

State Police investigated a burglary that occurred on Salk Drive, Highland, NY shortly before noon on December 20, 2011. The homeowner was contacted by his security alarm company and was advised of an alarm activation. Upon arriving at his residence, he discovered several firearms and computer equipment missing from the residence.

State Police conducted neighborhood interviews and developed information that resulted in the recovery of the property.

Pittman was arraigned before Town of Lloyd Justice Terri Elia and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000cash, $30,000 bond.

Three Men Arrested for Burglary in Sullivan County

On December 14, 2011 State Police in Liberty announce the arrest of Brian Hendrickson, age 21, Christopher Wallace Hill, age 23, and James McDonnell, age 21, all from the Village of Liberty, for the felony charge of Burglary in the second degree.

State Police in conjunction with the Village of Liberty Police Department conducted an investigation into residential burglaries in the Town of Liberty and the Village of Liberty. Investigation revealed that Hendrickson, Hill, and McDonnell would drive around the Town and Village of Liberty during the weekday to select a residence from which they would gain entry and steal property.

The subjects were arraigned before Town of Thompson Justice Miller and committed to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $75000 bail. They are due back in the Town of Liberty court on December 15, 2011.
