SUNY ORANGE, ORANGE COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO CO-HOST SUPERVISORY SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM

Businesses that need more than the standard management training should register for a new program being offered by the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and SUNY Orange. Supervisory Skills Training sessions will be held at the Chamber Business Center in Montgomery from 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays: October 16, October 30, November 13 and November 27. A half-day wrap-up session will take place on January 8.

According to Scott Batulis, CEO of Orange Regional Medical Center, this training program “is as good as or better than anything that’s out there.” Participants will be provided with the tools they need to: enhance new hire and current employee performance levels; increase hiring and orientation effectiveness; help employees serve multiple task/occupation functions; prepare employees for advancement in the organization; and help supervisors manage more effectively.

The training is intended for businesses and organizations of any size. The fee is $299. Register by calling the Chamber at 845-457-9700 or e-mailing roseannb@orangeny.com. The program is provided through SUNY Orange’s Department of Business Solutions.
