The second driver involved in a fatal accident in Kiamesha Lake has died.
Early Monday afternoon a tractor trailer and a garbage truck collided on Route 42.
The driver of the tractor trailer, 57 year old James Eaton of High Falls, was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Wednesday, the driver of the sanitation truck, 48 year old Brett Labbs of Hawley, PA, died from his injuries.
State Police investigation concluded that Eaton’s vehicle drifted across the lane of traffic as he rounded a curve in the road. Labbs was unable to avoid the tractor trailer.
