Red Hook Woman Arrested for Grand Larceny
May 15th, 2012 | By HV Insider | Category: Featured ArticlesThe New York State Police in Kingston announce the arrest of Kristina Burnett, 39, of Red Hook, NY, for Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree and Scheme to Defraud in the 1st degree.
Burnett is accused of stealing approximately $4,082.35 over two and one-half months from numerous subjects in Ulster and Dutchess counties. Burnett was a private sales consultant for the food company “Tastefully Simple,” received orders and monetary payments from customers under fraudulent pretenses.
It is believed that she failed to fulfill the orders, resulting in the theft of $4,082.35 from these customers.
Burnett was arraigned in the Town of Saugerties Court and was released on her own recognizance to reappear on May 16, 2012.
