Monticello police arrested 42 year old Mark A. Soldo of Jackson heights, NY on Saturday May 25, 2013 and charged him with felony criminal mischief in the 3rd degree.
According to reports, on Saturday May 4, 2013 Soldo intentionally struck a VGM machine at the Monticello Casino and Raceway breaking the glass screen of the machine. The value of the damage caused to the machine was $1281.00. Soldo left the premises before he could be identified by casino security. On Saturday May 25 Soldo returned to the Casino and was recognized by security from the earlier incident.
Monticello police were called and Soldo was arrested. He was arraigned before village of Monticello justice Josephine Finn and remanded to the Sullivan county jail on $1500.00 bail pending further court action.
