On November 17, 2012, Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21 year old Timothy M. Temple of Port Ewen. He was charged with Failing to Register as a Sex Offender, a Class E Felony.
An Investigation conducted by Deputies determined that Temple had voluntarily vacated his residence in the Town of Esopus and moved to a residence in the City of Kingston. After relocating, Temple failed to notify the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services or the City of Kingston Police Department of his change of address for more than the mandated ten day period required by Law in accordance with Temple’s status as a Level 2 Sex Offender.
On Saturday November 17, 2012 Deputies secured an Arrest Warrant and Temple was arrested later that evening at 8:15 PM. He was arraigned in the Town of Esopus Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $2500.00 cash bail or $5000.00 bond.
Temple is to reappear in the Town of Esopus Court on November 20, 2012 at 05:00 PM.
