City of Poughkeepsie Police Investigate Reports of Bricks Thrown at Rte. 9 Motorists
City of Poughkeepsie Police have received several complaints from motorists traveling north on Route 9 near the Main Street overpass of their vehicles being struck by bricks thrown from above. The incidents have been occurring between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Suspects are described as three juvenile black males, approximately seven to 12 years old.
Officers are conducting extra patrols in the area and a detective has been assigned to investigate.
Motorists are urged to use caution when driving in that area and should immediately report any incidents to the police so officers can search the area for suspects.
