Orange County to Host Annual Herb Day

Orange County Hosts Herb Day
Popular Annual Program Sponsored by Parks Dept. and Friends of Hill-Hold

Orange County Executive Edward A. Diana and Commissioner Richard L. Rose of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation are pleased to announce that the popular annual Herb Day program is scheduled for Tuesday, August 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Gwen Sutherland Kaiser, the Day’s featured speaker, will be presenting Herbaceous Cocktails. Gwen has served as Master Mixologist for the reputable CocktailTimes.com and is a consultant for Brotherhood Winery. She’s currently writing her first book, Zodiac Cocktails, and has a popular blog on the topic.

The presentation will be followed by a delicious herb-oriented luncheon catered by Holbert’s Catering served under a tent on the beautiful front lawn of Hill-Hold Museum. The Day’s activities will also include a raffle and silent auction. Books on herbs, potted herb plants, and other gift shop items will be offered for sale.

Tickets for Herb Day are $45 per person, and include the lecture and lunch. Pre-payment and advance reservations will be required for this popular event.
