ORANGE COUNTY OPENS SHELTER IN TOWN OF NEWBURGH

Fall snow storm leaves many without power, in need of shelter
Orange County Executive Edward A. Diana announces that the Orange County Department of Social Services, in conjunction with the Red Cross, opened a shelter in the Town of Newburgh at 6:00 pm evening located at the Newburgh Recreation Center, 311 Route 32, Newburgh, NY 12550, as a result of yesterday’s early fall snow storm that left many residents without power.  For more information on this shelter, please call 2-1-1.

Please note that the shelter in the Village of Highland Falls is now closed, and the warming station in Fort Montgomery is also now closed.
