Restricting vehicular travel on local roadways
Orange County Emergency Manager Seamus K. Leary confirms that the following municipalities have declared a State of Emergency, restricting all non-essential vehicular traffic in these areas:
· The Town of Blooming Grove
· The Town of Cornwall
· The Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson
· The Village of South Blooming Grove
· The Village of Washingtonville
Villiage of Highland Falls has opened an emergency shelter at the firehouse

Orange County Emergency Management would like to advise the public that at 9 pm this evening the Village of Highland Falls opened a shelter at the Highland Falls Fire Department, 9 Mountain Avenue, for those who are in need of shelter due to today’s weather. Currently, there are 30 people at the site. Pets in crates will be accepted.
