“The Orange County Correctional Officers Benevolent Association is pleased to endorse Karl Brabenec for New York State 98th Assembly District. The character and conviction shown by Mr. Brabenec in his role as Town of Deerpark Supervisor and his clear and unequivocal commitment to the people of Orange County makes Karl Brabenec O.C. COBA’s choice for 98th Assembly District.  Karl Brabenec is well known and very well respected by members of our union. We feel that you will take the fight to Albany on behalf of Orange County residents to fight for tax relief, job creation, and education all while fighting to reform Albany. Karl understands first-hand the difficulties of raising a family in Orange County. As the son of a former New York City Police Officer and Supervisor of the Town of Deerpark, Karl recognizes the needs for law enforcement officers today. O.C. COBA represents the Corrections Division of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. We are confident that Mr. Brabenec recognizes the difficult and hazardous nature of the jobs performed by all of O.C. COBA’s members, jobs which serve to promote the safety and well-being of all Orange County citizens. O.C. COBA wishes you well with this endeavor and offers our full support; you will make a fine representative for Orange County in the New York State Assembly. ”

The Orange County Correctional Officer’s Benevolent Association, commonly referred to as COBA, is comprised of over 300 men and women of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. COBA is affiliated with the International Union of Police Association, AFL-CIO.  Brabenec was previously endorsed by the Orange County Deputy Sheriff’s Police Benevolent Association.

Brabenec is the Republican Party nominee of both Orange and Rockland County for the Assembly seat in the 98th district.
