ORANGE COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PARTNERS WITH BUSINESS COUNCIL ON FIXNYS.COM TO PROVIDE DIRECT ACCESS TO LEGISLATIVE INFORMATION
The Orange County Chamber of Commerce has partnered with The Business Council of New York State on its new Fix New York program. Fix New York gives private-sector employers and their employees a way to make their voice heard in Albany. Through Fix New York, available on the Chamber’s website (www.orangeny.com), businesses and individuals can get involved directly in legislative issues that may affect them or their jobs.
“Through the Fix New York site, the Chamber is providing direct access for members and others to find out about issues that matter to them, their jobs and their families, and to take action on those issues,” said Dr. John D’Ambrosio, Chamber President. “Orange County’s business community knows that public policy and elections directly impact economic growth, competitiveness and job creation. It’s our hope that participation in the Orange County Chamber Fix New York website will lead to more business-friendly outcomes in these areas.”
Along with the Rockland Business Association, the Orange County Chamber of Commerce was one of the first associations to sign on to the Fix New York program.
