Town Police are investigating the death of a Town of Newburgh man in a home close to the Middlehope Town line. The incident occurred early Saturday morning, November 24, 2012.
Police have not released full details surrounding the death, other than the victim died from a single gunshot wound from a rifle and is thought to be in his mid-40’s. At this point in the investigation, they feel it is an apparent suicide.

Town of Newburgh police have concluded the investigation into the death of a Town of Newburgh man early Saturday morning. Police have determined that the death was the result of a self inflicted gunshot wound and has ruled the case a suicide.
