Newburgh Rowing Club rowers, parents, and friends came out Monday, December 23rd to the Newburgh Mall to stand in the rain and ring the kettle bells for the Newburgh Salvation Army Corps.
“This is one of our biggest nights of the year, and the Newburgh Rowing Club and friends helped us come that much closer to meeting our goal,” said Dr. James Delviscio, chairman of the Advisory Board of the Newburgh Salvation Army Corps.
“We are always looking to give back to the community which has given so much to us,” said Juliana LoBiondo (“Mrs. Lo”), Team Mom for the Newburgh Rowing Club, and Director of the Newburgh Rowing Club Student Ambassador Program, which provides scholarship-based swimming and rowing programs to under-served youths in the community. Mrs. Lo is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Newburgh Salvation Army Corps.
