Newburgh Mayor to Participate in National Women Build Week

Mayor Judy Kennedy will support Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh and National Women Build Week by participating in the construction of 29 Liberty Street in Washington Heights on Friday, May 11 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. The house, sponsored by EpiscoBuild, is being readied for its dedication on Saturday, May 12 at 1:30 p.m.
“I am excited to be a part of the construction of Habitat’s 55th house in the City of Newburgh,” said Mayor Kennedy. “Habitat plans to build or renovate another 50 houses in 5 years. They need everyone’s help to make this a reality. If we want to reap a great harvest, now is the time to plant good seeds. Now is the time to be a volunteer in your community.”
