On November 16, 2012, the New York State Police in Kingston arrested 20 year old Rasheem O. Eccleston, from East Orange, NJ for Grand Larceny in the third degree.
Eccleston is accused of stealing approximately $33,300 from an elderly City of Kingston woman. The investigation revealed that Eccleston was involved in a lottery scam, where he fraudulently received money from the victim between September 20 and September 26, 2012.
Eccleston was arraigned in the Town of Marbletown Court and was remanded to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in the City of Kingston Court on November 20, 2012.
