Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus today announced that he will participate in a rally for police officers, their families, and victims of crime scheduled for Friday, January 9 at the entrance to the Orange County Courthouse, located in Goshen. The county executive will be joined by District Attorney David Hoovler, staff of Sheriff Carl DuBois, local law enforcement, crime victims and their families at the 6 p.m. event. The general public is encouraged to attend. The rally coincides with National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day and was organized by Orange County’s FOP Jason Conklin Memorial Lodge 957. The purpose of the rally is to recognize the positive impact that law enforcement officers have on the daily lives of Orange County’s residents and to show support and appreciation for the members of law enforcement that live and work here.

“This is an opportunity for the public to show our support for law enforcement amid some of the worst violence against police officers in recent memory,” said Neuhaus. “Orange County stands with law enforcement and their families as together we work to keep the public safe.”

The courthouse is located at 285 Main Street in Goshen.
