Monticello Drug Store Employee Charged With Stealing Prescription Pills

Monticello woman arrested for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance

On December 11, 2012, the New York State Police at Liberty arrested Holly Huebsch, 43, of Monticello, NY, after an investigation into the theft of prescription pain killers from the Family Drug Store located on Broadway in the village of Monticello.

An investigation by State Police has determined that Huebsch, an employee of the store, was stealing the drugs over the course of the past several months and then selling them.

Huebsch was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, a felony.  She was arraigned in the Town of Fallsburg Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.   State Police were assisted during the investigation by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
