Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro will get the Red Hook Bicentennial Celebration Air Show off to a flying start this Sunday, July 1st at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome when he flies into the event in a biplane with Town of Red Hook Supervisor Sue Crane, Village of Red Hook Mayor Ed Blundell and Village of Tivoli Mayor Bryan Cranna at 1:45pm.
The fly-in will kick off a World War I Air Show of vintage planes that begins at 2pm. The Air Show is part of the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome free, fun-filled “Family Day” from 10am to 5pm for Red Hook residents and their families as part of Red Hook’s Bicentennial Celebration.
The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome is located at 9 Norton Road in Red Hook.

Red Hook has about 200 homes for sale and
about a dozen foreclosures, possibly more, if you
include pre-foreclosures. Instead of a fly-over, it
might be more helpful to the residents of Red Hook
if leaders figured out better ways not to increase taxes
and to bring in newer sources of revenue. It’s really
offensive to hear leaders say the only solution is
always to raise taxes.
