Ontario County man arrested on charges of sexual abuse of minor
The New York State Police announce the arrest of Arthur J. Bielewicz Jr., age 51, of Farmington, NY for the felony charges of Criminal Sexual Act in the first degree, Sexual Abuse in the first degree, Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors in the first degree, and the misdemeanor charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Unlawful Imprisonment in the second degree.
Bielewicz was arrested and charged subsequent to a four month investigation which revealed that he posed as a 30 year old male who befriended a 13 year old on the internet and began an on-line relationship with the juvenile. Bielewicz eventually drove to Orange County where he met the juvenile and then drove to a secluded park where he forced the victim to have sexual contact with him.
On March 5, 2013, Bielewicz was taken into custody in Ontario County and transported to Orange County for arraignment. Bielewicz was arraigned in the Town of Wallkill court and was remanded to Orange County Jail on $100,000 cash bail or $350,000 bond to re-appear on March 7, 2013, at 9:00 AM.
The State Police at Montgomery were assisted by the Town of Montgomery School Resource Officer, the State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Troop E, SP Canadaigua BCI, and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
