Liberty Police Make Arrest in Series of Thefts and Vandalism
Aug 20th, 2012 | By HV Insider | Category: Featured ArticlesOn Thursday August 16, 2012 the Village of Liberty Police arrested Frank Paolucci Jr, 51 of Liberty, after an investigation in thefts and vandalisms that had occurred to a business on Sullivan Avenue in the Village of Liberty.
On three separate occasions, between August 6 and August 15, 2012 Paolucci came to the business and damaged large commercial air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment located at the rear of the business.
In total Paolucci caused several thousand dollars in damage destroying the units by stealing internal copper and aluminum components.
Paolucci was arrested outside his home on Thursday afternoon. Paolucci was charged with a total of 13 charges including criminal mischief in the 2nd degree, attempted criminal mischief in the 2nd degree, two counts of criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, tampering with physical evidence, all felonies, three counts of possession of burglar’s tools, two counts petit larceny, attempted petit larceny, misdemeanors, and two counts of trespass, violations.
