On July 18, 2013 Wiltwyck Golf Club members will be hosting the 2nd Annual Wounded Warriors Golf Tournament, with all proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Project.
“Ulster County is deeply grateful to our veterans for the sacrifices they have made on our behalf,” said County Executive Hein. “The Wounded Warrior Project’s vision is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history. It raises awareness and enlists the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members; helps injured service members to aid and assist each other; and provides unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.”
According to Wiltwyck member Richard Croce, “The members of Wiltwyck appreciate County Executive Hein’s proclaiming July 18th Ulster County Wounded Warrior Day and the community’s support for the Wounded Warrior Golf Tournament. We hope everyone will come out, have fun and support this great cause.”
The Tournament has an 11:30 a.m. registration and lunch and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. A cocktail hour and dinner immediately follow the Tournament. The entry fee of $175 per person includes golf, a cart, lunch, beverages on the course, a cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, awards, dinner and prizes. It is $75 for dinner only.
