FIRST TIME HOME BUYER SEMINAR FOR ORANGE COUNTY RESIDENTS
The Orange County Rural Development Advisory Corporation (RDAC) has partnered with Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (HVFCU) to offer a free home buying seminar. The seminar will focus on the First Home Club, a program that can benefit Orange County residents who may be interested in purchasing their first home. It will be held on Thursday, September 22 from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. at the Colden Manor at Spruce Lodge on 619 State Route 17K, Montgomery, NY.
The First Home Club is a matched savings program for prospective homebuyers in New York State. Financed by the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, The First Home Club offers qualified first-time homebuyers the opportunity to earn $4 in grant monies for every $1 saved, up to $7,500 to qualified buyers for use with a home purchase.
Seating for the seminar is free but space is limited. Reservations can be made at www.hvfcu.org.
