Hudson River Housing will hold its Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 14th from 12 – 2pm at the Italian Center, 227 Mill Street in Poughkeepsie.
During the meeting, Executive Director Ed Murphy will present the annual “State of the Agency” remarks. Mr. Murphy is expected to discuss agency plans to for enhancing services for veterans, the need to invest in our youth, new efforts to help those in emergency shelter move to permanent housing, and strengthening working relationships with local government.
He will also discuss in detail focused community revitalization efforts in the City of Poughkeepsie, including redevelopment of the historic Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory as an urban center of sustainable and healthy living. This project will provide an anchor on the eastern end of Main Street for revitalization efforts in the City of Poughkeepsie.
