On Friday, November 16, 2012 at 5:10 PM Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of 22 year old homeless man in the Town of Esopus. Christopher M. Rion was arrested for the felony of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and the misdemeanor of Petit Larceny.
On November 13, 2012 at approximately 09:00 pm deputies responded to the Mobil Convenience Mart in the Town of Esopus for a report of a larceny from that location. The initial investigation revealed that at approximately 08:30 pm on November 13, Rion entered the Mobil Convenience Mart and stole a wallet belonging to one of the employees.
Rion was arraigned in the Town of Esopus Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $2500.00 cash bail and $5000.00 bond. Mr. Rion is to reappear in the Town of Esopus Court on November 20, 2012 at 06:00 pm.
