Fight at Underage Drinking Party Leads to Two Arrests in Saugerties
Jul 17th, 2011 | By HV Insider | Category: Featured ArticlesTwo teens were arrested Friday night when police responded to a fight called in at a party in Saugerties. When officers from the Town of Saugerties arrived they found the party was an underage drinking party.
The names of the 16-year-old boy and girl are being withheld because of their age. They were arrested when officers from Saugerties and Woodstock arrived at 526 John Joy Road around 11:30 p.m.
The girl was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, a misdemeanor, and marijuana possession.
The boy was charged with first-degree unlawful dealing with a child, a misdemeanor, and violations for underage drinking and marijuana possession.
Both were released to appear back in Town of Saugerties Court on July 27.
