On Saturday June 9, 2012 the Village of Liberty Police Department arrested Steven Jones JR., 25, of Liberty on felony drug charges.
Police were called to the Budget Inn Motel around 3:00 am for a disturbance. Police located Jones on scene and after a brief investigation it was discovered that Jones was in possession of cocaine.
Jones was arrested and charged with Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 5th degree and Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree,both felonies, for possessing the drugs with the intent of selling them.
Jones was held at the Liberty Police Department pending arraignment.
