Deerpark, Chester and Goshen Local Officials Tour New ORMC FacilityAug 6th, 2011 | By HV Insider | Category: Featured Articles
Chester Supervisor Steve Neuhaus, Goshen Mayor Kyle Roddey, and Deerpark Supervisor Karl Brabenec pronounced themselves impressed last Friday after touring the new Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill, the first hospital to open in New York in 20 years.
“While we will miss having a hospital within the village, the higher quality of care this hospital will provide will help improve the quality of life for all Goshen residents,” Roddey said.
The tour held after the ribbon-cutting ceremony gave the officials a personal view of the new center’s high-tech equipment.
“I was excited to see the new hospital and learn about all the modern medical services that it has to offer,” Neuhaus said. “This is a
state-of-the-art hospital that will save lives and help people for decades.”
Deerpark Town Supervisor Karl Brabenec said, “We are so lucky to have one of the newest and most innovative health facilities serving the residents of the Hudson Valley right here in Middletown. On behalf of the residents I represent, I want to thank all those who made this venture a reality.”
