Debbie Gioquindo – Cherish Thanksgiving Memories

Nov 24th, 2011 | By | Category: Lifestyle

Today is Thanksgiving, a day to give thanks.  We all have different traditions and no one table is the same.  For me it’s a day to get together with family and friends.  Our Thanksgiving table is as traditional as everyone else in the fact that we have a Turkey.  Beyond that I think every table has different traditions.  We serve my mothers’ noodle pudding, there are some Greek traditional food at the table like spinach pie (I’m not Greek, but my husband and friends are), sweet potatoes, and my garlic green beans.

The wine always seems to be put in my hands.  This year I think we’ll begin with appetizers and celebrate friendship with Happy Bitch Wines Rose. At the table a  Chenin Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Noir and I am not sure what else I will dig out of the wine cellar but I will bring a nice Ice Wine for dessert.

So as you celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you are enjoying it with people you love. Cherish the memories and be happy.  If you are traveling – be safe.
