Comedian Rich Vos – Screenwriter and Producer of documentary film “Women Aren’t Funny” and co-host of wildly popular SiriusXM Radio show, “My Wife Hates Me” – will perform live at The Pavilion at Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center on April 10, 2015 with his wife and partner in crime, Bonnie McFarlane.  McFarlane also wrote and Directed “Women Aren’t Funny”, and co-hosts “My Wife Hates Me” (she’s the wife!).  Rich Shultis from the WPDH Morning Show will host the event.

Best known from NBC’s hit reality show “Last Comic Standing,” Rich Vos is one of the most exciting and broadest headlining comedians in the country.  Back Stage Magazine says of Vos, “He has an uncanny ‘Everyman’ ability to likeably bond with anyone in the audience…” The excitement of a Rich Vos show stems from his unique, no-holds-barred perspective on relationships, divorce and parenthood.  Vos pulls no punches when it comes to comedy. On many occasions, he will deliver some of the quickest crowd banter, leaving audiences not knowing what to expect next.

Vos is a “comic’s comic” who is quick, off-the-cuff and appeals to all types of audiences, best represented by his extensive resume of television and radio appearances. He has two Comedy Central Half-Hour Specials and appeared in two other Comedy Central specials. He was a regular guest on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, and has been a regular guest on The Opie and Anthony Show” for the past 10 years.  Vos has appeared on HBO, Showtime, Starz, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, NBC’s American Dreams and The View.  He is also a regular on the Joy Behar Show, has made three appearances at the Apollo, four appearances on BET, and was the first white comic to perform on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam. He also wrote for the 2005 Oscars, and has appeared on and written for many roasts.

Comedian Bonnie McFarlane got her start in comedy by winning The Search for Canada’s Funniest New Comic.  McFarlane has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Show with David Letterman, and The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn.  She appeared as a panelist on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and Red Eye w/Greg Gutfeld and as one of Dr. Katz’s patients on Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist.  In 2004, she appeared on season two of the NBC reality show Last Comic Standing.   In 2005, she had her own HBO One Night Stand special. In 2008, she had her own Comedy Central Presents half-hour special.  She is also one of the hosts of the Nickelodeon show NickMom Night Out.  McFarlane makes occasional appearances on the Opie and Jim radio program, with her husband on SiriusXM Radio.

McFarlane wrote and directed the film, Women Aren’t Funny, which was previewed at Caroline’s on Broadway in November 2012. The film was released in August 2014.

Vos and McFarlane have both worked with comedy icons the likes of Wanda Sykes, Joy Behar, Sarah Silverman, Rosie O’Donnell, Lisa Lampanelli, Chris Rock, Artie Lange, and Tom Arnold.
