The Ferry Godmother is hosting its’ 8th annual holiday tradition, Ferry Godmother Christmas Caroling Series 2013. It will be held on Thursday, December 19th 6pm to 7pm on the Newburgh waterfront at Newburgh-Beacon landing. There will be a special appearance by The Merry Minstrels, an acapella quartet in Victorian costume. The event is free and open to the public. Donations of chestnuts or other goodies to share are requested.
Come share this wonderful tradition of caroling to the ferry riders as they disembark the Newburgh Beacon Ferry. Friends, family and community are invited to sing along or enjoy traditional Christmas songs by the Merry Minstrels. Carolers arrive around 5:45 pm to enjoy the warmth of the campfire.
