Austin DuBois to be Honored with Leadership Orange “Hall of Fame Award”Mar 4th, 2013 | By HV Insider | Category: Business News
Austin DuBois, an estate planning and elder law attorney with Blustein, Shapiro, Rich & Barone, will join 18 other distinguished Leadership Orange graduates in being inducted into the Leadership Orange Hall of Fame at the organization’s “20th Anniversary – Best Party. EVER!” event on Thursday, April 11.
DuBois, named an Orange County Rising Star last year, served as project manager for the Leadership Orange Class of 2012’s successful “A Toast to Orange” fundraising event. DuBois also founded the Orange County Rowing Association recently, and is the current chair of the Inspire Foundation Board of Directors. DuBois, an Orange County native, joined Blustein, Shapiro, Rich & Barone in 2011 after practicing law in Philadelphia and New Jersey.
“I’m honored to be among this select group of outstanding community leaders,” said DuBois. “Their professional and volunteer contributions to the lives of Orange County residents are truly a testament to the value of Leadership Orange.”
Leadership Orange participants receive 10 months of training on topics important to Orange County residents and businesses. The non-profit, non-partisan organization, which began its work in 1993, has an alumni base numbering over 500.
Other winners include: Richard Golden, Eric Fuentes, Tom Weddell, Maggie Smith, Patricia Claiborne, Richie Lay, Elizabeth Kuriplach, Captain Kathy Sileno, Todd Rubino, William Fioravanti, Michael Flynn, Debra Bogdanski, Jonathan Schiller, Andy Komonchak, Pete Berman, Christine Rolando, Pat Fayo, and Domanie Ragni.
“It’s time for all of us to rally around the Leadership Orange program and recognize so many great leaders who have come through the program,” said Leadership Orange Board President Karen Miller.
