Arrest Made in Connection to December Shooting in Newburgh Night Club

City of Newburgh Detectives have charged Ardae Hines, age 23, with shooting a 17 year old Newburgh resident during an altercation on the dance floor inside the club while it was occupied by more than 100 people.

The 17 year old suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and his 18 year old brother was stabbed during the melee.
Hines has been charged with Assault in the first degree and Reckless Endangerment in the first degree and is being held pending arraignment.
