“This is our seventh year and we are going all out with this production,” said Director Terry Odell, who also choreographs the production. “We have elaborate, magnificent sets with colorful, custom-made costumes and it was imperative to have a location big enough to showcase this production. We are thrilled to be bringing it to the Sugarloaf Performing Arts Center. The students are working so hard and have already exceeded expectations. I am confident it is going to be a phenomenal production.”
The Acting Out Playhouse operates under the vision that life skills, such as responsibility, professionalism, respect, team work, confidence, manners and conversation are learned and academic skills, such as reading, history and critical thinking, reinforced through theatre working from the inside out. Students who come from all over the Hudson Valley, Northern New Jersey and Northeastern Pennsylvania learn empathy, humility and social awareness through programs offered at the school.
