On September 22, 2011 members of the City of Newburgh Police Department along with New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Orange County Sherriff’s Narcotics Unit conducted a joint investigation into prostitution and “John” complaints throughout the city.
As a result of the investigation the following were charged with Prostitution 3rd Degree a Class B Misdemeanor; Anna Entwistle 42, of the City of Newburgh, Nicole Mead 28, of the City of Newburgh and Roxanna Leszczynski 34, of the City of Newburgh.
The following persons were arrested and charged with Patronizing a Prostitute in the 4th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor; Mark Luedeman 49, of Beacon, Cosmo Mitchetti 46, of the Town of Newburgh and Anthony Jackman 43, of the City of Newburgh.
All those arrested were booked and held pending arraignment in City of Newburgh Court.
This joint operation is an effort to continue to enforce some of the ongoing quality of life issues in the City of Newburgh.
