3 Killed in Early Morning Crash
Jan 16th, 2012 | By HV Insider | Category: Featured ArticlesOn January 14, 2012 at approximately 1:13AM the New York State Police at Rhinebeck investigated a one car motor vehicle accident with multiple fatalities on State 9G in Red Hook.
Responding Troopers discovered that a vehicle driven by Favio Avila Debernard, age 24, of Hudson NY, was northbound on State 9G in the Town of Red Hook just south of the Columbia County line, when he lost control and went off the east shoulder of State 9G striking a tree.
Debernard, along with Ethan Keil, age 22, of Hudson and Micah Evans, age 21, of Tivoli were all pronounced dead at the scene by the Dutchess County Medical Examiners Office.

State Police and Investigators are on the scene of an early morning fatal accident in that left 3 dead
Troopers were assisted by State Police Investigators and the New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit.
At this time, a preliminary investigation has shown that speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the crash and the investigation is still ongoing.
The State Police were also assisted by Tivoli Fire Department who had the ardous task of extricating the victims from the vehicle using the jaws of life.
