Wallkill River Bridge Painting Underway The long awaited painting of the Wallkill River Bridge on Rt 44/55 has begun. The well traveled bridge has been peeling its blue paint for a number of years. The DOT estimates approximately six weeks to complete the project. Expect some delays as alternating single lane closures will like ly take place.
